Beginner's Yoga
Want to begin to practice yoga and not sure how? Take an introductory class.Introductory or Foundational classes are now offered Mondays at 8 am , Wednesdays at 9 am and Sundays at 9am. Join Jack Rudra and various teachers in exploring the foundational practices of asana or yoga. This class covers breath work, standing poses, balancing poses, and restorative poses.
The pace of the class allows for individualized instruction and in depth study of specific poses. We will take time to breathe into our bodies as we stretch, and pause to discuss the fundamentals of each pose. We will also break down Vinyasa style yoga into a palatable sequence, ensuring the integrity of our alignment as we flow from one pose to the next. If you have never done yoga, or haven't ever felt like you are doing it "right", this class is for you
